1.       Notification Changes: The department reserves the right to modify, cancel, or revise the number of posts without prior notice.

2.       Communication:

o    Candidates must regularly check the GDS Online Engagement Portal for updates.

o    The Department does not make phone calls to applicants. Communication is only through the Engaging Authority.

o    Do not share personal details (registration number, mobile number, email ID) with others.

3.       Application Status & Queries:

o    Applicants can check their application status using their registration and mobile number.

o    Division-wise help desk numbers are available on the website. Queries will not be entertained through other means.

4.       Correction Window:

o    A 3-day correction period is available after the application deadline (except for mobile number & email ID).

o    Changes requiring fee payment must be completed as per the prescribed procedure.

o    Once modified, the previous application becomes void, and merit will be based on the revised application.

5.       Eligibility Restrictions for Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment Result 2025

o    Candidates dismissed/ removed/ compulsorily retired from Govt. service/ GDS positions cannot apply.

o    If false information is found, the candidate’s selection will be canceled, and legal action may be taken.

6.       GDS Job Conditions:

o    GDS are civil post holders but are outside the regular Civil Services of India. Governed by GDS (Conduct & Engagement) Rules, 2020.

7.       Undertakings at Engagement: Selected candidates must submit an undertaking for:

o    Computer knowledge (Annexure VI)

o    Cycling skills (Annexure VII)

o    Adequate means of livelihood (Annexure VIII)

8.       Marksheet Verification:

o    Class X mark sheets will be verified through the DigiLocker API SETU Portal of the Ministry of IT.

o    Candidates must provide consent (Annexure X) for verification.

9.       Additional Restrictions:

o    Elected officials are not eligible for GDS engagement.

o    GDS employees cannot work for outside agencies that conflict with Post Office/IPPB interests.

o    Past experience/service is not considered in selection.
